Our beers
The name Platan (plane tree) was first used in 1973 for 11% light lager from Protivín. It was inspired by the fabulous triple plane tree alley, truly unique in our climatic zone, bordering the access road to the brewery. The name Platan has spread so widely that consumers thought that Platan meant the Protivín Brewery. Therefore, the decision was made that all beers made in Protivín would be called Platan and the plane tree leaf would become the brewery logo.
