The latest chapter in the history of Platan Brewery starts in February 2008, when it was purchased by Pivovary Lobkowicz, a. s., represented by the new director, JUDr. Ing. Zdeněk Radil. The new owner makes a great effort to join together all the good and strong points from the previous periods, and further develop the Platan brewery. The new owner has decided to promote the brewing of traditional Czech lagers by means of traditional technologies and strive for a stronger position of the brewery in the region and expansion to foreign markets.
